PROTOROLLER
Why walk if you can glide in a monorail suspended securely from the ceiling?
In addition to the familiar railways with two rails, there have been other attempts at developing rail transport. For example, Ivan Elmanov created the first monorail prototype in Russia in 1820. A gyroscope was developed to balance the large, heavy train on a monorail, keeping it upright with the same principle as a spinning top.
At the Invention Factory, however, the monorail is in a rather unusual place: right below the ceiling. You can enjoy a dizzying ride when you climb to the platform on the first-floor balcony and let yourself be strapped safely into a device that will take you for a ride over the factory. The length of the track is 133 metres – enough to experience a rush of adrenaline!
