A SELF-DRIVING CART
The first cars did not have brakes or even a steering wheel. How could you even drive such a contraption?
Imagine living at a time when there are nothing but horse-drawn carts and carriages on the streets. All of a sudden, you see a self-driving cart! Feel a bit spooked out? That’s exactly how shocked and curious people were when Gustave Trouvé presented his electric tricycle at an international exhibition in Paris in 1881. A car with an internal combustion engine built by Karl Benz in 1885 was a forerunner of the modern car.
At the invention factory, you can be an inventor who has developed a new method for driving cars and is heading to the world exhibition to introduce your invention. Unfortunately, you’re in a hurry, and you have to test your car’s capacity immediately. You can play this game with a friend – one of you drives the car while the other adjusts the speed.
