SAFETY AND HYGIENE

In line with the  requirements established by the Government of the Republic of Estonia, we at PROTO Invention Factory are taking hygiene  seriously and are doing our best to make sure our visitors have a pleasant and safe experience.  We apply all COVID-19  requirements established for museums and exhibitions and follow recommendations. In addition, we are doing the following:

  • We provide each visitor with a free personal protective mask and rubber gloves when entering the exhibition hall. The protective mask helps avoid contact between your face and the VR glasses. Wearing the mask and gloves is compulsory for all visitors.
  • We have extended our opening hours to allow for visitation over a longer period of time. Our new opening hours are Wed– Sun 10:00–18:00.
  • The number of visitors allowed into the exhibition hall simultaneously is 200. We count visitors at the reception counter to organise queues and avoid overcrowding.
  • Our attendants make sure that queues and groups of no more than 10 people form in front of exhibits.
  • We indicate waiting areas. This way we can accelerate and simplify access to exhibits and effectively guide people’s movement through the room.
  • The maximum number of participants at a birthday is 20.
  • The maximum number of people in a tour group is 10.
  • We disinfect and wet clean the most used surfaces (VR glasses, restrooms, children’s area, countertops, remote controls, handrails, handles, etc.) regularly (at least every 2–4 hours). We also ask visitors to clean VR glasses before use.
  • We have installed 15 stations in the halls for hand disinfectant and special wipes for VR glasses.
  • We have equipped our employees with visors and a special set of cleaning supplies.
  • We have removed unpackaged items (pastries, cakes) from the café and package them separately. We have also removed unpackaged paper cups and other supplies from the shelves and bid our visitors to ask for them from the café service personnel.
  • Tables in the café have been repositioned  at least 2 metres apart.
