SAFETY AND HYGIENE

Due to the elapsed emergency situation and requirements established by the Government of the Republic of Estonia, we too at PROTO Invention Factory will be paying more attention to hygiene in the future and will do our best to make sure our visitors have a pleasant and safe experience.  We will apply all COVID-19 minimum requirements established for museums and exhibitions and follow recommendations. In addition, we will be doing the following:

  • We will provide each visitor with a free personal protective mask and rubber gloves when entering the exhibition hall. The protective mask helps avoid contact between your face and the VR-glasses. Wearing the mask and gloves is compulsory for all visitors.
  • We will extend our opening hours to allow for visitation over a longer period of time. The new opening hours are Wed-Sat 11-19, Sun 11-18.
  • The number of visitors allowed into the exhibition hall simultaneously is 200. We will count visitors at the reception counter to organise queues and avoid overcrowding.
  • Our attendants will make sure that queues and groups larger than 10 are not formed in front of exhibits.
  • We will indicate waiting areas. This way we can accelerate and simplify access to exhibits and improve guiding people`s movement in the room.
  • The maximum number of participants at a birthday is 20.
  • The maximum number of people in a tour group is 10.
  • We disinfect and wet clean the most used surfaces (restrooms, children`s area, countertops, remote controls, handrails, handles etc) and VR-glasses regularly (at least every 2-4 h hours). We also ask visitors to clean VR-glasses before use.
  • We will install 15 special stations in the halls for hand disinfectant and special wipes for VR-glasses.
  • We will equip our employees with visors and a special set of cleaning supplies.
  • We will remove unpackaged items (pastries, cakes) from the cafe and package them separately. We will also remove unpackaged paper cups and other supplies from the shelves and bid our visitors to ask for them from the café service personnel in the future.
  • Tables in the café will be repositioned to allow at least 2 m of distance between guests sitting at the tables.
